Hi, I’m Liz!

I am a Mama to two beautiful girls, Ava (12) and Alexis (10), and a Wife to my Husband, Mike. We have been together since 2007 and will be married twelve years next March. Mike and I have both worked in Healthcare for over a decade and met each other in my first college class many moons ago. We have two pups, Oakley (Goldendoodle) and Tucker (Aussiedoodle).  I work full-time as a Nurse Manager in OB at a large hospital in Houston and Mike is a Family Nurse Practitioner at a Family Clinic, his background is Emergency Medicine, and often can be found being a jack of all trades…administering injections such as Dysport and Lip fillers, attending to injuries, assisting with weight loss, anything family medicine related, and men’s health. 

How did I get started on Instagram and “influencing?”

Since I was pregnant with Ava in 2010, my love for blogging/social media began. I started off blogging often about all things Motherhood then began selling on e-commerce sites such as Jane.com and Etsy. In the past few months I have begun sharing affordable fashion finds from major retailers such a Target, Amazon, Walmart, Old Navy, Maurices, Abercrombie & Fitch, Hollister, and American Eagle to name a few. The outpouring of love from women who have been so appreciative to find ways to dress their  bodies on a budget has blown me away. As women, we often spend so much time focused on everyone else that we forget the importance of ourselves. 

What do we do for fun as a family?

Right now, we are in full fledge sports mode as a family. Our oldest, Ava plays Travel Softball and we often are traveling out of state to see her play. Mike coaches the team and has for the last several years! Now that Ava is in middle school, she is now on the Volleyball team and our youngest, Alexis is also in Club Volleyball as well.
